Q&A with Jeff

What’s the common thread that runs through your career?

Over the last decade, I’ve operated at the intersection of entrepreneurship, investing, and serving entrepreneurs. The first chapter of my investing career was learning the investing business at one of the best venture and private equity franchises. The most recent chapter in my career has been focused on building differentiated venture products in greater service of the founders I back.

What’s one of your superpowers?

Nearly every business and person has something uniquely great about them. Sometimes, there’s also something uniquely challenging. I’m usually pretty good at discerning those counterweights.

A book you commonly gift to people?

How Will You Measure Your Life? by the late Clayton Christensen.

In your spare time?

Besides exercise and spending time with my family, I consume business content and invest in public markets in my spare time. I’ve heard investing described as the last liberal arts job and I’m lucky to have discovered that my hobby is also my vocation.

Are you an amazing entrepreneur working on a big idea?
